Masters of Science in Biological Chemistry- Thesis Track

From Kingston, WA, I attended Hope College and worked as a Lab Manager under Dr. Leventhal before transitioning to a student within the Biological Chemistry program at UM. My thesis primarily questions if there is a differentiation of gene expression in the rat brain thalamus in a Parkinson Disease model using RNA Sequencing and Western Blotting with future aims to look at the effects of Levodopa has(or doesn't have) in these genes of interest.
